- If the Sadas, Havirdhāna-shed are burnt, the Adhvaryu should mark (i.e. remember) the scoops, the Udgātr̥… the Stotras (and) the Hotr̥… the Śastras.1

- At the morning-pressing if (the Adhvaryu) does not find the (pressing) stone, having brought a Palāśa-stick, he should press with it only. This itself is the expiation for this (mishap)-thus is known (from a Brāhmaṇa-text).1

At the morning-pressing, if the (pressing) stone is broken before the Bahiṣpavamāna (-laud is sung), they should sing the Sāman of Dyutāna Māruta.1

- Now according to somel: if at the morning pressing the jar (Dronakalasa) is broken one should make the Vasat kāraṇidhana-saman as the Stotra corresponding the Sastra of the Brahmanacchamsin. With asave svāhā, vasave svāhā…2 after (the Adhvaryu) has offered thirteen libations of ghee,3
