विश्वास-प्रस्तुतिः
आपस्तम्बानुयायित्वम्
अभिवादयतां मृषा।
त्रपां हर्तुं सताम् भूयाद्
ग्रन्थोऽयं विष्णु-कारितः॥
English
May this book, motivated by Vishnu,
serve to remove the embarrassment of those virtuous people
who [currently] greet [elders]
dishonestly mentioning their followership of the Apastamba school
(not having yet read his texts).
