०२ त्रिवृदादिस्तोमविधिः

प्रा॒त॒स्-स॒व॒ने वै गा॑य॒त्रेण॒ छन्द॑सा त्रि॒वृते॒ स्तोमा॑य॒ ज्योति॒र् दध॑द् एति ।
त्रि॒वृता॑ ब्रह्मवर्च॒सेन॑ पञ्चद॒शाय॒ +++(स्तोमाय)+++ ज्योति॒र् दध॑द् एति ।
पञ्चद॒शेनौज॑सा वी॒र्ये॑ण सप्तद॒शाय॒ +++(स्तोमाय)+++ ज्योति॒र् दध॑द् एति ।
सप्तद॒शेन॑ प्राजाप॒त्येन॑ प्र॒जन॑नेनैकविँ॒शाय॒ +++(स्तोमाय)+++ ज्योति॒र् दध॑द् एति ।
स्तोम॑ ए॒व तत् स्तोमा॑य॒ ज्योति॒र् दध॑दे॒ति ।
अथो॒ स्तोम॑ ए॒व स्तोम॑म् अ॒भि प्र ण॑यति ।

At the morning pressing he keeps glorifying the Trivrt Stoma by the Gayatri metre;
the Pañcadaça Stoma by the Trivrt, which is splendour;
the Saptadaça by the Pañcadaça which is force and strength;
the Ekavinça by the Saptadaça which is connected with Prajapati and causes begetting.
Verily thus Stoma glorifies Stoma;
verily also Stoma leads Stoma forth.

याव॑न्तो॒ वै स्तोमाः॑, ताव॑न्त॒ᳵ कामाः॑ , ताव॑न्तो लो॒काः , ताव॑न्ति॒ ज्योतीँ॑षि +++(ब्रह्मवर्चसादीनि)+++ ।
ए॒ताव॑त ए॒व स्तोमा॑न्, ए॒ताव॑त॒ᳵ कामा॑न् , ए॒ताव॑तो लो॒कान् , ए॒ताव॑न्ति॒ ज्योतीँ॒ष्यव॑ रुन्द्धे+++(=लभते)+++ ।

As many as are the Stomas, so many are desires, so many the worlds, so many the lights;
verily so many Stomas, so many desires, so many worlds, so many lights does he win.
