ब्र॒ह्म॒वा॒दिनो॑ वदन्ति -
स त्वै य॑जेत, यो॑ऽग्निष्टो॒मेन॒ +++(त्रिवृत्-पञ्चदश-सप्तदश-एकविशात्मकेन चतुष्टोमेन)+++ यज॑मानोऽथ॒ सर्व॑स्तोमेन॒ +++(चतुष्टोमादिक-सप्तविंश-त्रयस्त्रिंशात्मकेन)+++ यजे॒तेति॑ ।

The theologians say,
‘He indeed would really sacrifice, who having sacrificed with the Agnistoma should also sacrifice with the Sarvastoma.’

यस्य॑ त्रि॒वृत॑म् अन्त॒र्+++(रा)+++-यन्ति॑,
प्रा॒णाँस् तस्या॒ऽन्तर्+++(रा)+++-य॑न्ति ।
+++(न केवलं स्वर्ग एव,)+++ प्रा॒णेषु॒ मेऽप्य् अ॑स॒द् +++(भागित्वम्)+++
इति॑ खलु॒ वै य॒ज्ञेन॒ यज॑मानो यजते ।

If they omit the Trivrt Stoma,
then his vital airs are omitted,
but he who offers the sacrifice does so with the wish,
‘May it be in my vital airs’.

यस्य॑ पञ्च-द॒शम् अ॑न्त॒र्+++(रा)+++-यन्ति॑,
वी॒र्य॑न् तस्या॒न्तर्+++(रा)+++-य॑न्ति।
वी॒र्ये॑ मेऽप्य् अ॑स॒द् +++(भागित्वम्)+++
इति॑ खलु॒ वै य॒ज्ञेन॒ यज॑मानो यजते ।

If they omit the Pañcadaça Stoma,
his strength is omitted,
but he who offers the sacrifice does so with the wish,
‘May it be in my strength.’

यस्य॑ सप्तद॒शम् अ॑न्त॒र्+++(रा)+++-यन्ति॑, प्र॒जान् तस्या॒न्तर्+++(रा)+++-य॑न्ति।
प्र॒जाया॒म् मेऽप्य् अ॑स॒द् +++(भागित्वम्)+++
इति॒ खलु॒ वै य॒ज्ञेन॒ यज॑मानो यजते।

If they omit the Saptadaça Stoma [1],
his offspring is omitted,
but he who offers the sacrifice does so with the wish,
‘May it be in my offspring.’

यस्यै॑कविँ॒शम् अ॑न्त॒र्+++(रा)+++-यन्ति॑
प्रति॒ष्ठान् तस्या॒न्तर्+++(रा)+++-य॑न्ति।
प्रति॒ष्ठाया॒म् मे ऽप्य् अ॑स॒द् +++(भागित्वम्)+++
इति॒ खलु॒ वै य॒ज्ञेन॒ यज॑मानो यजते।

+++(त्रिणव-त्रयस्त्रिंशयोः चतुष्टोमेऽस्मिन् कः प्रसंगः? सत्यम्, एतयोर् अप्य् अन्तराय-दोषश्रवणात् एताव् अप्य् अग्निष्टोमे ऋद्ध्या संपाद्याव् इति भावः । तत्कथमेतौ संपादितौ स्यातामिति? आज्यानि चत्वारि पञ्चदशान्नानि संभूय षष्टिस् स्तोत्रिया भवन्ति। ताश्च द्वौ त्रिंशद् वर्गौ तत्रैकस्मात्तिस्र उद्ध्रियन्ते एताश् चेतरत्र दीयन्ते - ६० = २७ + ३३।)+++

यस्य॑ त्रि॒ण॒वम् +++(सप्तविंशस्तोत्रियम्)+++ अ॑न्त॒र्+++(रा)+++-यन्ति॑,
+++(नक्षत्रसंख्यान्वयेन संवत्सरात्मकत्वात्त्रिणवस्य)+++
ऋ॒तूँश्च॒॑ तस्य॑, न॒क्ष॒त्रिया॑ञ् च॒ वि॒राज॑म् अ॒न्तर्+++(रा)+++-य॑न्ति।
ऋ॒तुषु॒ मे +++(भागित्वम्)+++ ऽप्य् अ॑सन् नक्ष॒त्रिया॑याञ् च +++(त्र्यक्षरोण-त्रिपाद-)+++वि॒राजीति॑ ,[9] खलु॒ वै य॒ज्ञेन॒ यज॑मानो यजते।

If they omit the Trinava Stoma,
his seasons and the strength of the Naksatras are omitted,
but he who offers the sacrifice does so with the wish,
‘May it be in my seasons and the strength of the Naksatras’ [2].

यस्य॑ त्रयस्त्रिँ॒शम् अ॑न्त॒र्+++(रा)+++-यन्ति॑
+++(त्रयस्त्रिंशत्वात्)+++ दे॒वता॒स् तस्या॒न्तर्+++(रा)+++-य॑न्ति । दे॒वता॑सु॒ मेऽप्य॑स॒द् +++(भागित्वम्)+++
इति॑ खलु॒ वै य॒ज्ञेन॒ यज॑मानो यजते

If they omit the Trayastrinça Stoma,
his deities are omitted,
and he who offers the sacrifice does so with the wish,
‘May it be in my deities.’

+++(‘अतिरात्रः परमो यज्ञक्रतूनाम्’)+++
यो वै स्तोमा॑नाम् अव॒मम्+++(=आदिमम्)+++ +++(अतिरात्रे)+++ प॑र॒मता॒ङ् गच्छ॑न्तव्ँ॒ वेद॑, प॒र॒मता॑मे॒व ग॑च्छति ।
+++(प्रकृतियागे)+++ त्रि॒वृद् वै स्तोमा॑नाम् अव॒मः। +++(अतिरात्रे तु)+++ त्रि॒वृत् प॑र॒मः। य ए॒वव्ँ वेद॑, पर॒मता॑म् ए॒व ग॑च्छति ॥+++(४)+++

He who knows the lowest of the Stomas attaining the first place, obtains him self the first place.
The Trivrt is the lowest of Stomas, the Trivrt occupies the first place. He who know thus obtains the first place.
