dAnu and danAyu
the shatapatha brAhmaNa version of the vR^itra mytheme +++(9.5)+++ … preserves a memory of the old IE or Aryan homeland. dAnu and danAyu: where on the map you might find rivers with related names in the vicinity.
- MT
Objection
And danu as a river is not mentioned either.

TS 1.8.6With it for food, do thou go away beyond the Mujavants. With unstrung bow, thy club in thy hand, clad in skins.
the Ṛgveda mentions the mountain Mūjavant (“Having Mūja”), from where the best soma comes. A Muža tribe is also found in the Avesta in an eastern area that has Vedic-like names. The name seems to survive as the impressive 7,549-meter-high Muzh Tagh Ata Mountain in the Kirghiz and Sariqoli (Saka) lands of southwestern Xinjiang.

Objections
Mujavant is found only from eighth mandala of RV where we find the arya lands of nwfp etc being mentioned. Not found in earlier books. It is no real memory of tajikistan. Rather it talks about arya expansion there

“their descendants go southward, conquering.”
Objections
Descendants going south - could refer to arya movement into central and southern India. Rather than from northern cold lands
