ज्ञानस्योपायत्वात् तस्य च सकृदेव कर्तुमर्हत्वात् ।

टीका

4.1.1 आवृत्त्यधिकरणम् The prima facie view is : it is only knowledge (meditation) of Brahman that is the means of attaining the Supreme; and, on the authority of श्रुति texts such as ‘He who knows Brahman attains Him’, ‘Having known Him thus one transcends death’, etc., it is known that meditation need to be performed only once. This contention does not hold good. It is because knowledge is equated with meditation and since meditation is a continuous process, it should be pursued again and again. Notes : 1. Taitt.
