3.4.4 अग्नीन्धनाद्यधिकरणम्
विद्यास्तु यज्ञादितदङ्गहानेः प्रव्राजकानां न हि संभवन्ति ।
नैतत्, ‘यदिच्छन्त’ इति श्रुतत्वात् अग्न्याद्यपेक्षारहितैव साऽस्ति ॥ 57 ॥

3.4.4 अग्नीन्धनाद्यधिकरणम् The prima facie view is : since there are no sacrifices for ascetics the meditations which have sacrifices as their subsidiaries can not belong to them. The above view is wrong. It is because as regards the ascetics there is scriptural sanction in texts such as ‘desiring this Brahman alone ascetics renounced this world’. so the meditation among ascetics has no necessity for kindling the sacrificial fire.
