3.4.2 स्तुतिमात्राधिकरणम्
कर्माङ्गोद्गीथादिसंबन्धमात्रं दृष्टं यस्मात् तत्स्तुतित्वं रसादेः ।
नासान्निध्यात् तद्विधेयप्रकर्षात् अप्राप्तत्वाच्चात्र कल्प्यो
विधिः स्यात् ॥ 55 ॥

3.4.2 स्तुतिमात्राधिकरणम् The prima facie view is : the text which sets forth उद्गीथ as the essence of essences and it is subsidiary to sacrificial rites must be treated as mere glorifications and there is no injuction of meditation of उद्गीथ The above view is wrong. It is because that उद्गीथ is the best of the essences is not known hitherto, and there is no injuction on the उद्गीथ in proximity.
