2.4.5 श्रेष्ठाणुत्वाधिकरणम्
लोकैः त्रिभिः साम्यगिरा विभुः स्यात् प्राणस्त्वितीदं न विशङ्कनीयम् ।
उत्क्रान्ति शब्दादिभिरस्य लोकैः साम्यश्रुतिर्याऽव तथाऽर्थवादः ॥ 39 ॥

2.4.5 श्रेष्ठाणुत्वाधिकरणम् It is doubted on the strength of the passage ‘sama ebhistribhir लोकैः which states प्राण as equal to the three world, प्राण should be all - pervasive. This doubt cannot hold good. It is because प्राण is stated to depart from the physical body along with the individual soul when the body falls off.
