पुराणे विश्वासटिप्पन्यः

The Supremely Blessed Tirujñānasambandhar of Kauṇḍinya gotra from Vasiṣṭha (who fittingly gave us the Mṛtyuñjaya-mantra), who was given the milk of Jñāna by Devī Herself, endowing Him with the gnosis of all the Vedas and Āgamas, called Himself

செந்தமிழின்-விரகன் (चॆन्तमिऴिन्-विरकन् | centamiḻin-virakan) — the expert of refined Tamizh;

செந்தமிழான் (चॆन्तमिऴान् | centamiḻān) — the one who speaks refined Tamizh / the refined Tamizhan; and

செந்தமிழின் சம்பந்தன் (चॆन्तमिऴिन् सम्मन्धन् | centamiḻin sambandhan) — Sambandhan of the Refined Tamizh

and is called by His devotees

தமிழாகரன் (तमिऴागरन् | tamiḻākaran) — the very form of Tamizh / He whose very form is Tamizh.
