Coins of saindhava kings
The coins of the final lineage of saindhava kings indicate a heroic struggle of the Hindu rulers against the flood of marUnmAda. From their coins, their names can be reconstructed as:

raNAditya -> harSha (?) -> jayAtaka -> harSharuka -> bharharSha -> prachaNDendra -> raNendra -> yashAditya -> raNavigraha -> varAha -> raiviha

yashAditya corresponds to rAjA dahir, who suffered the invasion of the marUnmatta-s.
His son raNavigraha recaptured “brAhmaNAbAd” from the maru-pishAcha-s, but after a long struggle with them was eventually killed. The coins indicate the struggle continued for a while under varAha and raiviha until the marUnmatta-s erased the saindhava rAjan-s.

jayAtaka’s coins are modeled after the Iranian coins showing the fire altar tended by two ritualists (1)

The coins of raNavigraha and varAha with brAhmI-derived inscriptions indicate the ancient shaiva motifs of a trident and a bull (2, 3, 4)

These coins indicate that neither raNavigraha nor varAha converted to marUnmAda and continued to heroically struggle against the Army of Islam. This situation resembles the back-and-forth struggle that took place in the neighboring Iranian realms against the same foe.

u think the “Rai” and “Chach/Silaijid/Brahman” dynasties are one and the same ???? If Yashaditya is Dahir Prachandendra is “Chandar” and Ranendra is “Chach”, and then ? Xuanzang explicitly identifies the king as of V4 lineage.

From a numistimatic perspective the so-called rai and chach are contiguous suggesting smooth succession even if they are not the same clan. I remain skeptical of chach lineage being v4 – there is no other clear evidence in that regard. It is likely some of their elite fled to saurAShTra.
