Language

In the RV athA and the paralogous adhA both occur 66 times. The former shares cognates with Iranian & Italo-Celtic. The latter with Hittite. A notable survival of an archaism that did not persist in later Skt showing the effect of the postulated “laryngeal” in the ancestor.
