Overriding

धर्मशास्त्रगतम् एव देशकालानुसारेण परिवर्तनम् अन्यत्र व्याख्यातम् - fluidity-पत्त्रे।
तन् नात्रोच्यते।

लोक-विद्विष्टं धर्मं नाचरेद् इति धर्मशास्त्रम्।

प्रकृतेर् अत्यन्तं न भिद्येत संस्कृतिः - अन्यथा लोकेनोपेक्ष्यतेतराम्।

धर्मश् च व्यवहारश् च
चरित्रं राजशासनम् ।
चतुष्पाद् व्यवहारो ऽयम्
उत्तरः पूर्व-बाधकः ॥

इति स्मृतिचन्द्रिका।

यद्यदाचर्यते येन धर्म्यं वाऽधर्म्यमेव वा।
देशस्याचरणान्नित्यं चरित्रं तत्प्रकीर्तितम्॥

आङ्ग्लेयादि-प्रेरित-भारत-संविधानादि
धर्माद् अ-पेतप्रायं लोकाचार-रुच्य्-आदि-प्रेरितं
राजाज्ञया, चरित्री-भूत-राजाज्ञया, प्राक्तन-चरित्रेण च युक्तम्।
धर्मस् तेन बाध्यत इति युक्त एव दण्डाभावादि।
