तेषां यान्यनादिष्टवृक्षाणि वैकङ्कतानि स्युः । यो वा यज्ञियो वृक्षः फलग्रहिः ५

Making instructions

For first two items, longer handle is needed.
For srk and sruva, total length 18 inches. The non-handle part of sRk (1st item) should be 7 inch long and 4 inch wide. Mouth should be like swan beak (hamsa-mukha).
Hole in sruva (2nd item) should be 1 inch diameter.
Wood - vaikankata / Flacourtia FI Mouth should be cut facing away from the center of the wood (towards the bark) and away from the trunk.

The non-handle parts of praNItA and prokShaNI patras (items 3 and 4) should be 7 inches long, and 4 inch wide. Handles for these can be short.
These should be made with Crateva religiosa (వరుణ, ఉలిమిడి, voolemara.)

Sruc denotes a ‘large wooden sacrificial ladle’ (used for pouring clarified butter on the fire) in the Rigveda and later. It is of the length of an arm, with a bowl of the size of a hand and a beaklike spout.
