पराविरोधः

अविरोधः

स्व-सिद्धान्त-व्यवस्थासु
द्वैतिनो निश्चिता दृढम् ।
परस्-परं विरुध्यन्ते
तैर् अयं न विरुध्यते ॥ १७॥

  • Deists or Theists (for example, trika shaivas like abhinava-gupta, or for that matter Platonists) are not necessarily dvaitin-s in the sense of being opposed to “जीव-ब्रह्मैक्य”; even while they admit theophany, samAvesha etc..
  • Just as advaitins can accommodate - or humor - deists / theists within their AhArya-sattA framework; so can the deists/ theists accommodate advaita analysis as a valid/ quasi-successful way of dealing with a strict subset of the phenomena they consider valid. So, no virodha in that sense.

विरोधः

अद्वैतिष्व् इमय् आग्रहा वर्तन्ते -

  • वयं हि श्रेष्ठाः सर्वसहिष्णवः। यूयं परस्परकलहपराः। (तेन क्वचिच् छङ्कराचार्य-चलच्चित्रेषु द्वैतिषु शारीरिक-कलहम् अपि दर्शयित्वोपहसन्ति।)
