एवं गतिविशेषेण देवादेर्दर्शनं भवेत् ।
सूक्ष्मव्यवहितादीनां स्वोपपत्त्यानुरूप्यतः ॥ ३४०६ ॥evaṃ gativiśeṣeṇa devāderdarśanaṃ bhavet |
sūkṣmavyavahitādīnāṃ svopapattyānurūpyataḥ || 3406 ||In the same manner, through special exercises, one would be enabled to see the celestial and other beings, as also things subtle, hidden and so forth,—in accordance with his own limitations.—(3406)
Kamalaśīla
Having thus shown that particular exercises and methods bring about an improvement in the powers of perception,—the author applies the same principle to the case in question:—[see verse 3406 above]
“In accordance, etc., etc.”—There are such natural limitations as—‘Vision of such and such a person turns downwards, not upwards’ and so forth; and if, in accordance with such well-known limitations, people have the Cognition of the Mahārajikas and other celestial Beings,—who can prevent it?—(3406)
