तेनात्र ज्ञायमानत्वं प्रामाण्य उपयुज्यते ।
विषयानुभवो यस्मादज्ञातो नैव लभ्यते ॥ ३०९७ ॥tenātra jñāyamānatvaṃ prāmāṇya upayujyate |
viṣayānubhavo yasmādajñāto naiva labhyate || 3097 ||Thus then, the fact of being cognised is of great use in the matter of the validity of cognitions; because there can be no apprehension of things which is not itself cognised.—(3097)
Kamalaśīla
It has been argued under Text 2912, that “The fact of being cognised is of no use in the matter of the validity of Cognitions, etc. etc.”.
