साधनान्तरजन्या तु बुद्धिरेषा विनिश्चिता ।
हेत्वन्तरकृतज्ञानसंवादस्तेन वाञ्छ्यते ॥ ३०८३ ॥

sādhanāntarajanyā tu buddhireṣā viniścitā |
hetvantarakṛtajñānasaṃvādastena vāñchyate || 3083 ||

This cognition produced by other means is quite certain; that is why the corroboration by cognitions produced by other means is desired.—(3083)

Kamalaśīla

It has been argued under Text 2902, that—“In both cases, the Corroborative Cognition is not produced by other means, hence they do not need corroboration by Cognitions produced by other causes The answer to this is as follows:—[see verse 3083 above]
