1809 Verse 2873

Original

तथाच वासुदेवेन निन्दिता संशयात्मता ।
नायं लोकोऽस्ति कौन्तेय न परः संशयात्मनः ॥ २८७३ ॥

tathāca vāsudevena ninditā saṃśayātmatā |
nāyaṃ loko’sti kaunteya na paraḥ saṃśayātmanaḥ || 2873 ||

“Vāsudeva himself has deprecated such a suspicious nature; in the words—‘neither this world, nor the next,—o son of Kunti,—is for the man of suspicious nature’.”—(2873)

Kamalaśīla

Vāsudeva’—Viṣṇu.

Son of Kunti’—Arjuna.—(2873)

Objection:—“If that is so, then there should be no suspicion of sublation regarding the first Cognition also; and thus there should be validity of all Cognitions”.
