अन्यथा नित्यरूपा सा तेषु स्यात्कीदृशी तव ।
शक्ताशक्तस्वभावस्य यदा भेदो व्यवस्थितः ॥ २७५९ ॥anyathā nityarūpā sā teṣu syātkīdṛśī tava |
śaktāśaktasvabhāvasya yadā bhedo vyavasthitaḥ || 2759 ||If it were hot so, then what sort of ‘eternal thing’ would the flame be,—when there remains the difference between its efficient and inefficient states?—(2759)

If it is admitted that there is difference in the Flame in the two states,—then the loss of eternality becomes inevitable.—This is what is pointed out in the following:—[see verse 2759 above]
