कृतकत्वविनाशित्वनिषेधोऽपि न सिद्ध्यति ।
साधनेऽस्त इति प्रोक्तं तन्नित्यत्वं न सिद्ध्यति ॥ २४३३ ॥kṛtakatvavināśitvaniṣedho’pi na siddhyati |
sādhane’sta iti proktaṃ tannityatvaṃ na siddhyati || 2433 ||Even the denial of the characters of being produced and being destroyed cannot be admitted; as it has been said that ‘the proof is set aside’. Hence eternality does not become established.—(2433)
Kamalaśīla
The following Text shows that the Reason in question is also ‘Inadmissible’:—[see verse 2433 above]
‘Bet aside’—Refuted.
‘Tat’—Hence.
If the latter view (2)—put forward in the Commentary on 2431—is accepted,—then it should not be said that ‘because they are of the nature of Negation, they do not need any proof for themselves’.
