1511 Verse 2344-2345

Original

अतीतानागतौ कालौ वेदकारवियोगिनौ ।
कालत्वात्तद्यथा लोके (कालो ?) वर्त्तमानः समीक्ष्यते ॥ २३४४ ॥
ब्रह्मादयो न विद्यानां कर्त्तार इति गम्यताम् ।
पुरुषत्वादिहेतुभ्यस्तद्यथा प्राकृताप्रकृता नराः ॥ २३४५ ॥

atītānāgatau kālau vedakāraviyoginau |
kālatvāttadyathā loke (kālo ?) varttamānaḥ samīkṣyate || 2344 ||
brahmādayo na vidyānāṃ karttāra iti gamyatām |
puruṣatvādihetubhyastadyathā prākṛtāprakṛtā narāḥ || 2345 ||

“The past and future times can have no connection with any ‘author of the Veda’,—because they are points of time,—like the present time as perceived.—It should be understood that Brahmā and the rest are not the makers of the Veda,—because they are persons, etc. etc.,—like ordinary me”.—(2344-2345)
