येन रूपेण विज्ञानं जनयत्परिनिश्चितम् ।
प्राक्पश्चादपि तद्बिभ्रदखण्डं किं न कारकम् ॥ १९०० ॥

yena rūpeṇa vijñānaṃ janayatpariniścitam |
prākpaścādapi tadbibhradakhaṇḍaṃ kiṃ na kārakam || 1900 ||

In the form in which the cognition produced a definite cognition in the past,—why cannot it, in the same unalloyed form, be productive of it in future also?—(1900)
