तदन्यस्य तदाभासेभावे हेतुत्वं नोपपद्यते ।
प्राग्भूतं भूतनिर्भासं ज्ञानं तु जनयेत्परम ॥ १८९२ ॥

tadanyasya tadābhāsebhāve hetutvaṃ nopapadyate |
prāgbhūtaṃ bhūtanirbhāsaṃ jñānaṃ tu janayetparama || 1892 ||

It is not possible that what is something different from the cognation should figure in it; it is only a previous cognition envisaging the substances that could produce another such cognition.—(1892)
