आगमे विश्वासटिप्पन्यः

विधानप्रतिषेधौ हि परस्परविरोधिनौ ।
शक्यावेकत्र नो कर्तुं केनचित्स्वस्थचेतसा ॥ १७३० ॥

vidhānapratiṣedhau hi parasparavirodhinau |
śakyāvekatra no kartuṃ kenacitsvasthacetasā || 1730 ||

Affirmation and denial are mutually contradictory; and they cannot be made by any sane-minded person, in regard to one and the same thing.—(1730)
