यो नाम न यदात्मा हि स तस्यापोह उच्यते ।
न भावोऽभावरूपश्च तदपोहे न वस्तुता ॥ १०८२ ॥yo nāma na yadātmā hi sa tasyāpoha ucyate |
na bhāvo’bhāvarūpaśca tadapohe na vastutā || 1082 ||When one thing is not of the nature of another, it is called its ‘Apoha’ (exclusion, negation), and the entity is not of the nature of negation. but even though there is ‘Apoha’ of negation, it does not acquire the character of the positive entity.—(1082)

Though in this way, there is Apoha of Negation, yet it does not become a positive entity.—(1082)
