यद्यप्यव्यतिरिक्तोऽयमाकारो बुद्धिरूपतः ।
तथापि बाह्यरूपत्वं भान्तैस्तस्यावसीयते ॥ १०२६ ॥yadyapyavyatirikto’yamākāro buddhirūpataḥ |
tathāpi bāhyarūpatvaṃ bhāntaistasyāvasīyate || 1026 ||Though this form of ‘Apoha’ is not different from the form of the cognition, yet its external character is apprehended only by deluded persons.—(1026)
Kamalaśīla
It has been urged (under 920, by Kumārila) that—“There would be apprehension therein of part of the cognition of the Horse itself, etc. etc”.
