अत्यन्तभिन्नावात्मानौ ताविति व्यवसीयते ।
विरुद्धधर्मवृत्तित्वाच्चलनिश्चलवस्तुवत् ॥ ७०४ ॥atyantabhinnāvātmānau tāviti vyavasīyate |
viruddhadharmavṛttitvāccalaniścalavastuvat || 704 ||It is clearly seen that the two are entirely different; because of the presence of contradictory properties:—like two things of which one is moving and another not moving.—(704)
Kamalaśīla
The following Text shows that for the above reason, it becomes established that the object is momentary:—[see verse 704 above]
‘The two’—i.e. things in the mobile and immobile states.
‘Like two things, etc, etc.’,—i.e. such things as the Creeper (moving) and the Mountain (not moving).—(704)
