आगमे विश्वासटिप्पन्यः

मोक्षो नैव हि बद्धस्य कदाचिदपि संभवी ।
एकान्तनाशतस्तेन व्यर्थो मुक्त्यर्थिनां क्षणः ॥ ४९७ ॥

mokṣo naiva hi baddhasya kadācidapi saṃbhavī |
ekāntanāśatastena vyartho muktyarthināṃ kṣaṇaḥ || 497 ||

“For the bound (imprisoned) person, liberation can never be possible; because (ex hypothesi), he is absolutely destroyed. Hence all the effort put forth by persons seeking for liberation is futile.”—(497)
