आगमे विश्वासटिप्पन्यः

ज्ञानानि च मदीयानि तन्बादिव्यतिरेकिणा ।
संवेदकेन वेद्यानि प्रत्ययत्वात्तदन्यवत् ॥ १७७ ॥

jñānāni ca madīyāni tanbādivyatirekiṇā |
saṃvedakena vedyāni pratyayatvāttadanyavat || 177 ||

“My cognitions are apprehended by a gogniser distinct from my body, etc.—because they are cognitions,—like cognitions other than mine.—(177)

Kamalaśīla

In the phrase ‘body, etc.’ the ‘etc.’ includes the Intellect, Sense-organs-and Feelings.—‘Because they are cognitions’,—this also is only illustrative; the other reasons also are meant,—such as ‘having their origin dependent upon their own causes’ and the rest (mentioned in the aforesaid comprehensive statement).—(177)
