Shaddarshana

(“six perspectives”) Collective name for
the six schools of classical Hindu philosophy. These six were usually grouped
in three pairs: Nyaya and Vaisheshika,
Samkhya and Yoga, and Purva Mimamsa and Vedanta. See six schools.
