(“quickly satisfied”) Epithet of the god
Shiva. This name reflects Shiva’s relationship with his devotees (bhakta), as
well as his ultimate nature. When his
devotees approach him with sincerity,
he demands neither expensive offerings
nor prolonged worship, and he extends
