Another name for Tryambakeshvar, the
presiding deity of a sacred site (tirtha) at
Trimbak, in the Nasik district of the state of
Maharashtra. Tryambakeshvar is one of
the twelve jyotirlingas, the “lingas of light”
that are considered especially sacred to
